On August 21, 2026, HDFF successfully hosted a special Hot Seat discussion and book launch for “THAIger Soldiers in the Secret War in Laos” featuring General (Ret.) Bunchon Chawansin, the author himself. Attendees engaged in an insightful conversation exploring Thailand’s military transformation and the history of Police Paratroopers (“PARU”) to “Tiger Soldiers” between 1960 and 1974.
