DESCRIPTION:Considering the frequency of natural disasters\, man-made accidents\, and violent crimes in people’s daily life\, CIFAL/UNITAR Bangkok (https://unitar.org/about/offices-training-centres-around-world/cifal-bangkok) collaborates with experienced security professionals and deliverers from the Human Development Forum Foundation (HDFF) in order to provide a specialized Leadership Training for “Sustainable Leadership in Crisis”. This initiative aims to increase the participants’ awareness and adeptness in handling crisis situations prevalent in humanitarian or business operations as well as in daily life. SUMMARY:Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) - Advanced
DESCRIPTION:HDFF’s Flagship “Hostile Environment Awareness Training (Advanced)” is an advanced safety training built to address the needs of implementing personnel from (I)NGOs\, media\, governmental and UN agencies\, international civilians\, and corporations. It is intended for individuals working\, based\, or traveling in high-risk “Red Countries\,” or high-risk areas within medium-risk countries (as classified by insurance and foreign service advisories). \nThis HEAT training aims to improve participants’ security awareness and handling of potentially dangerous situations in hostile environments while following relevant and appropriate international regulations. Since this is a core responsibility for employers\, this training will also help enhance the organization’s “Duty of Care” profile. The HEAT (Advanced) training will be led by experienced and culturally sensitive trainers\, ensuring the highest level of safety for all participants. This is an engaging\, scenario-based training that includes three days focused on immersive\, field-based role-playing exercises.
