Human Development Forum Foundation (HDFF) is an officially registered Thai foundation based in Bangkok, Thailand. The Human Development Training Center (HDTC) specializes in capacity building in leadership, safety and security management as well as general management skills for international Corporates and Organizations, in open courses or “in-house” trainings. We believe that sharing knowledge and improving management and safety skills of executives and employees of (Inter)national Government and Non-Government Organizations (I)NGO) as well as Corporates will increase managerial capacities and strengthen the motivation and work of implementing personnel.
HDFF offers internship opportunities for undergraduate and post-graduate students to enhance their academic experience through practical work in the development field.
HDFF is always looking for qualified interns to support our team! Working with HDFF offers first-hand experiences in the work of a local non-governmental organization based in Bangkok. Our team consists of Thai and international staff, and the working language is English, but speaking Thai is an advantage.
Job Descriptions: Candidates are requested to apply within one of the following tracks based on interest and baseline competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programs
- Assist the Program Officer in the preparation and facilitation of the Human Development Training Program.
- Support arrangements for the organization of meetings, workshops, events.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new training programs
- Research
- Support ASEAN-related research projects
- Write web articles on relevant topics.
- Contribute to HDFF’s newsletter.
- Communications
- Manage HDFF’s external communications, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Liaise with training participants from diverse backgrounds.
- Administrative
- Support HDFF’s program officers with general administrative functions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Enrolled in a university at the undergraduate or graduate level
- Interest in human security issues in Asia
- Strong research & communication skills
- Creative & innovative
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills
Language Requirement: Excellent oral and written English skills.
Work Experience: No working experience is required to apply for HDFF Internship Program.
Place of Posting: HDFF Office, Bangkok
Working Period: An internship with HDFF should last between three to six months, applicants available for at least 6 months will be given priority. Please state the dates and length of time you are available in your cover letter. We are looking for enthusiastic and qualified individuals to start from February 2025 onward.
