They say time flies when you’re making a difference. Last month, HDFF officially marked its 19 years of operation. While we are proud of our age, we are even prouder of the footprint we’ve left behind. We’ve been spending the last 12 years perfecting our HEAT (Hostile Environment Awareness Training), and the numbers tell the real story of our journey:

• 340+ participants trained.
• 30 intensive HEAT training completed.
• 41 global organizations partnered with.
• 19 years of commitment to “Knowledge Improves Life.”

Last month, we took a moment to step away from the training grounds to celebrate with the people who make this mission possible. It was a joyous evening filled with laughter, great food, and some surprise anniversary gifts.

While we spent a moment to celebrate the 19th anniversary, our work didn’t stop. For the rest of the year, our calendar is filled with activities from Sustainable Leadership trainings to the advanced HEAT sessions.
